Matthew B. Hankin is a principal in and Research Analyst for Arbiter Partners Capital Management. His responsibilities include global long and short equity and fixed income research, idea generation, industry research, and merger/deal analysis. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hankin worked as an Associate at Corsair Capital, a New York-based private equity fund. Before that, Mr. Hankin was an investment banking Analyst and Associate at Banc of America Securities in New York. Mr. Hankin graduated with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, and earned an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

In his role as portfolio manager, Mr. Mayer plays an integral part in the investment research review and decision-making process as well as coordinates the day-to-day management of Capital Income portfolios. He also provides expertise and insight into the capital goods, consumer and technology sectors. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mayer was a business analyst at Capital One where he supported the president of US Credit Card Operations as an internal consultant. Mr. Mayer, a CFA charterholder, is a summa cum laude graduate from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Mr. Mayer earned an MBA from the Wharton School and MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.

Colin McGranahan is the U.S. Director of Research at Bernstein. He joined the firm in 2001 as the Senior Research Analyst covering the Hardlines Retail sector and later also covered the Discount Retail sector. As an analyst, he was named to Institutional Investor's All-America Research Team nine consecutive times, with recognition as the No. 1 ranked analyst in his sector for six years. Prior to joining Bernstein, Colin was a Partner at Kurt Salmon Associates where his experience included strategic planning, corporate restructuring and performance improvement for the retail and consumer products industries. Colin earned an MBA from the Wharton School where he was named a Palmer Scholar, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude with a BS in Economics and a BA in English Literature.

Brian is responsible for equity research on companies with market capitalizations between $1 billion and $20 billion. Prior to joining WEDGE Capital Management in 2007, Brian worked as a litigation consultant with Tucker Alan and Navigant Consulting, providing financial and accounting advisory services in large commercial disputes. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Philosophy from Vanderbilt University, and his Master of Business Administration degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. Brian is a member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.

Paul DeNoon directs all of AllianceBernstein’s investment activities in emerging-market (EM) fixed income and is a senior member of the Global Fixed Income and Absolute Return teams. He oversees a variety of global fixed-income assets and has overall responsibility for all of the firm’s Multi-Sector teams. DeNoon is also Portfolio Manager for the Next 50 Emerging Markets Fund and a member of the EM Multi-Asset Strategy Committee, the Dynamic Asset Allocation Committee and a number of other management committees. Prior to joining the firm in 1992, he was a vice president in the Investment Portfolio Group at Manufacturers Hanover Trust and an economist in the bank’s Financial Markets Research Group, where he was primarily responsible for the analysis of monetary and fiscal policy. DeNoon began his career as a research analyst at Lehman Brothers. He holds a BA in economics from Union College and an MBA in finance from New York University.

Gary is a portfolio manager and head of global credit. Gary joined Brandywine Global in March 2010, bringing with him over 20 years of high yield experience. Previously, Gary was a Managing Director, Portfolio Manager with Guggenheim Partners, LLC (2009-2010); a Managing Director, Portfolio Manager with Dreman Value Management, LLC (2007-2009); and an Executive Director, Portfolio Manager (1999-2007) and Associate (1994-1998) with Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Gary earned his M.B.A. with Honors from Columbia University, and a Bachelor Degree from Villanova University. He also holds his Chartered Financial Analyst certification and is a member of the Philadelphia Scholars Program Investment Committee.

Justin Gerbereux is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Trust Company. He is a director of Fixed Income Credit Research, team leader on the high yield research team, and a member of the Fixed Income Steering Committee.

Justin joined the firm in 2003 and worked as a credit research analyst and portfolio manager in the Fixed Income Division's High Yield Group before becoming a director of Fixed Income Credit Research in 2013. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an equity research intern with Mellon Growth Advisors, LLC, in Boston, and was a senior investment associate and investment performance analyst at Cambridge Associates LLC in Arlington, Virginia. Justin earned a B.S. in business administration from the University of Mary Washington and an M.B.A. in business administration from the University of Virginia, Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mr. Khurana is a vice president and portfolio manager for the financial institutions group (FIG) in the New York office. He previously worked in Newport Beach as a portfolio manager on the U.S. credit team. In 2015, he was named one of Forbes' "30 under 30" in the Finance category. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he was an analyst at Goldman Sachs, where he traded and invested in a variety of structured products in the non-agency mortgage-backed securities space. He has seven years of investment experience and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He received an undergraduate degree from Princeton University.

Henry S. D’Auria is the Chief Investment Officer of Emerging Markets Value Equities, a position he has held since 2002, and Portfolio Manager for the Next 50 Emerging Markets Fund. He served as co-CIO of International Value Equities from 2003 to 2012. Prior to that, D’Auria was one of the lead architects of the firm’s global research department, which he managed from 1998 through 2002. Over the years, he has also served as director of research of Small Cap Value Equities and director of research of Emerging Markets Value Equities. D’Auria joined the firm in 1991 as a research analyst covering consumer and natural gas companies, and later covered the financial-services industry. He was previously a vice president and sell-side analyst at PaineWebber, where he specialized in restaurants, lodging and retail. D’Auria holds a BA in economics from Trinity College and is a CFA charterholder.

Joyce Li has extensive experience investing in international equity markets for institutional and high net worth clients. She is a founding member and principal at MPA Capital Management, an Asia focused long/short equity hedge fund seeded by Tiger Management. Since 2009, Joyce has served as Portfolio Manager at Marvin & Palmer Associates, a global equity investment firm and the majority shareholder of MPA Capital. Joyce is frequently invited to speak at conferences and seminars on Asia and emerging markets.

Joyce received her MBA as a Palmer Scholar from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia. She is passionate about promoting professional development of women in asset management and served as a director on the board of the CFA Society of Philadelphia between 2006 and 2011.

Robert W. Smith is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and currently sits on the firm’s Asset Allocation Committee. Mr. Smith was previously a portfolio manager for T. Rowe Price’s International Equity Strategy for 8 years ending March 2015, and before that he managed the firm’s U.S. Large-Cap Core Growth Strategy for 11 years.

Mr. Smith has over 20 years of investment experience with T. Rowe Price. He joined the firm in 1992 as an investment analyst specializing in defense, retail, and electrical equipment stocks. He also provided general coverage of European equities starting in 1995. Prior to T. Rowe Price, Mr. Smith spent six years at MFS Investment Management as an analyst, where his coverage included beverage, tobacco, food, electrical equipment, and telecommunications companies.

Mr. Smith earned a B.S. in finance and economics from the University of Delaware and an M.B.A. in general management from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
