Erin Leighty is a second year MBA candidate at Wharton. During the summer, she was a product management intern at PIMCO. Prior to Wharton, Erin spent six years in investment consulting with Stratford Advisory Group (now Pavilion) in Chicago. In this role, she provided strategic investment advice to endowments, pension plans, and healthcare organizations. She also led investment manager due diligence for US Core, Value, and Enhanced Index strategies. Erin graduated from the University of Illinois with degrees in Finance and Economics. She is a CFA charterholder..

Jingxia Li

Jingxia Li is a second year MBA student at Wharton where she is majoring in finance and entrepreneurship. Before Wharton, Jingxia worked in Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a Fundamental Equity Client Portfolio Manager. This summer, she worked as a research analyst at Penghua Fund Management covering Asia High Yields, US REITS and asset allocations. At Wharton, Jingxia is the Vice President of Wharton Investment Management Club, co-presidents of Asia Clun and Diversity Executive Director of Wharton Graduate Association. Jingxia received her Bachelor degree from University of International Business and Economics with major in Finance. She passed all three levels of CFA exams and enjoys travelling, outdoor activities and singing during her spare time.

Anthony Lee is a first year MBA student at Wharton majoring in Finance and Strategic Management. Prior to Wharton, Anthony was an Associate at Metalmark Capital, a New York based private equity firm, where he focused on investments in the industrials industry. Anthony started his career as an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse, completing mergers, acquisitions, and debt & equity financings for clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications industry. Anthony graduated with General Honors from the University of Chicago where he received an A.B. in Economics.

Michael Shambon

Michael Shambon is a first year MBA student at Wharton, majoring in Strategic Management. Prior to Wharton, Michael was an Associate at Magnetar Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund in Chicago, where he focused on value and event-driven public investments in the natural resources industry. Michael started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Citigroup in New York, contributing to strategic and financing transactions in the energy industry. Michael graduated with honors from Claremont McKenna College.

Li Zhang

Li Zhang is a first year MBA student at Wharton majoring in Finance. Over the summer, Li interned as a fixed income analyst at Everbright Pramerica, a mutual fund in China, where she focused on analyzing corporate bond issuers in steel / coal industries. Prior to that, Li was an associate at HSBC in Hong Kong, leading credit analysis for over 10 clients in the real estate sector for bank debt financings. Li graduated with First Class Honors from The University of Hong Kong with concentrations in Economics and Finance. She passed all three levels of CFA exams.

Nicole Hong

Nicole Hong is a second year MBA student at Wharton majoring in Finance and Management. Nicole previously worked as a Buy-side Research Analyst at Midas International Asset Management and as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs. She worked at T. Rowe Price this summer in London, covering European building materials. Nicole is one of the Fund Fellows of the Wharton Investment Management Fund and is a CFA Charterholder.

Naser AlAujan is a first year MBA student at the Wharton School majoring in Finance and Management. Prior to Wharton, Naser was a Senior Analyst at Asiya Investment, a Hong Kong-based Asset Manager, where he focused on public equity investments in the Asian Energy sector. Prior to that, Naser was a Junior Analyst Trainee at Wafra Investment Advisory, a New York-based Asset Manager. Naser graduated Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

Emily Scudder is a first year MBA student at Wharton, majoring in finance. Prior to Wharton, Emily worked as an equity research associate covering semiconductors at BMO Capital Markets in San Francisco. Emily initially started her career in public accounting and worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young. She has her earned her CPA license and is a CFA charterholder. Emily graduated with highest honors from University of California Santa Barbara, with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Economics: Accounting Emphasis and a Bachelors of Science in Financial Mathematics & Statistics.

Srijata Chattopadhyay

Srijata Chattopadhyay is a first-year MBA student at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, Srijata was a Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. There, she worked on the institutional global emerging markets equity and emerging markets debt portfolios. She came to MSIM from FactSet, where she was a consultant to New York City buy-side clients. Srijata will be one of the Investment Management Club trek leaders to NYC. Srijata graduated from Barnard College in 2008 with a major in Economics and a minor in Political Science, and she has completed Level I of the CFA program.

Wenjie Gao is a first year MBA student at Wharton, majoring in Finance. Prior to Wharton, Wenjie worked for four years at State Administration of Foreign Exchange (“SAFE”) in China, which manages US$3.2 trillion in foreign exchange held by the Chinese government. Wenjie focused on risk management of SAFE’s diversified portfolios. She is a certified FRM and CFA Level III candidate. Wenjie graduated from Peking University, Beijing, China, where she received her MA in Finance.

Kathryn Hagy is a first year MBA student at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Kathryn spent four years as a Research Associate at Fidelity Investments in the Municipal Bond and Money Markets Group, covering utilities and state and local governments. Kathryn has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst Program. Kathryn graduated from Dartmouth College in 2008, where she majored in History and was a four-year member of the varsity field hockey team. In her free time, Kathryn enjoys yoga, playing squash, and trying to lower her golf handicap.

Raj Hathiramani

Raj Hathiramani is a first year MBA student at the Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Raj spent four years at Citadel Investment Group, covering financials on the long/short global equities team. After Citadel, he worked in strategy and corporate finance at Google for over two years, helping grow their display advertising business. While at Wharton, Raj serves as a Portfolio Consultant for First Round Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm. He graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University, with a BSE in Operations Research & Financial Engineering. Raj enjoys rowing with Wharton Crew, running marathons, and spending time with his wife.

Prabesh Regmi

Prabesh Regmi is a first year MBA student at the Wharton School, majoring in Finance and Management. Prior to Wharton, Prabesh spent six years at Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS), a $50bn AUM asset management group within Goldman Sachs. At QIS, Prabesh was involved with all aspects of the quantitative investment process for equity strategies, including investment idea generation, model construction, portfolio management and trading. Prabesh graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Public Policy, and a BA in Economics and Mathematics. Prabesh is also a CFA charterholder and enjoys working out, hiking and watching documentaries.

Prior to Wharton, Jason worked in China before working in Mongolia for 3 years as a frontier market investor focusing on real estate and mining. He also previously worked as a junior researcher at a Korean university, pursuing research on a North Korea economic engagement policy. He holds a B.S. in Finance with a specialization in entrepreneurship from NYU Stern School of Business.

Natalie Vane

Natalie Vane is a first year MBA student at the Wharton School, majoring in Finance and Real Estate. Prior to Wharton, Natalie spent four years working as a project manager and civil engineer for the government, primarily at the U.S. Navy and Army headquarters in Washington D.C., and invested over $30m in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Natalie graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance, Real Estate and Management. She also earned a M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley with a Management of Technology Certificate from Haas. Natalie is a licensed Civil Engineer. Natalie enjoys skating with Wharton Hockey, boxing, scuba diving and investing in the stock market.
